10 Oct Weak Father: Men’s Forum Report

Jesse Lee Peterson led BOND’s monthly Men’s Forum on Thursday, October 6. Jesse’s mission is to rebuild men. A child feels lost and incomplete when he has a weak father and emotional mother. In many cases such a boy or girl may never recover.

New guys showed up — very intelligent, looking for answers to their issues. They’d been to different churches and in bad relationships. They talked about their their fathers and mothers. They talked about anger and fear.

Son Became Like Emotional Mother and Weak Father

Jesse told one guy that he had become a “woman” — he shared the same worries, thoughts, and insecurities a woman experiences. This young man was nice to people, many of whom used him. He felt insecure about his body having been teased as a kid for being fat. He wanted people to like him, to feel connected.

The young man said that he is like his weak father, but also emotional like his mother.

He identified with his mother because his father caved in — Jesse told him that his father and mother hate each other, so as a kid he grew up unfulfilled and insecure. It pained him to hear Jesse say that his parents “hate” each other, but he noticed at times the father would sleep on the couch in front of the TV, or the mother.

He could sense Jesse was right even though his parents remained together and still “date” each other. (In reality his parents “dating” is a sign that his mother leads and that the world influenced her).

An Atheist Hears the Truth: God Is Love

One man talked about “conservatism,” and the “liberal” brainwashing in California and Los Angeles. For a time he did not believe in God anymore — gave up on God, became an atheist, but found us on YouTube and The Fallen State from an interview with Ben Shapiro.

This man came to church and heard Jesse say that “God is love.” It clicked for him — the statement turned the light on for him. He bought Jesse’s book The Antidote: Healing America from the Poison of Hate, Blame and Victimhood and was on the seventh chapter.

He’s watched all of Jesse’s videos from his TV show, and is working through hundreds more on Jesse’s other channels (BOND and Jesse Lee Peterson).

The Intellect of the World Is from Satan

One guy was very intellectual, and thought that he needed to figure out how to simplify his life, but in reality life is simple but in his blindness he complicated his life. You must forgive before you can enter into the kingdom of heaven.

The meeting went well past 8:30 — it lasted until 9:15pm; Jesse just had to end it. Jesse led everyone in a silent prayer that he urges everyone practice (instructions on SoundCloud).
