12 May Do You Gossip? (Biblical Question)
Jesse’s Biblical Question of the Week: Do you gossip? (Watch video here or above)
Proverbs 11:13
A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.
Jesse asked his question, “Do you gossip?” on his show’s Facebook page and one person, Greg, said he’d heard Jesse’s advice against gossip years ago, and it improved his relationships.
Jesse told stories about gossip at Church on May 6th, and talked about it on his daily radio show during the week. Do not gossip, and do not listen to gossip. And don’t trust anyone who gossips. Don’t accept what your mother says about your father or what your father may say about your mother (there are many “girly men” out there who gossip), but go to the person and ask them about it, if you have an issue with them. Forgive your mother and father, and love them.
Jesse also urges people to practice the Silent Prayer every day, morning and night. Take the pain of people talking about you, the conflict within, and whatever else you have to go through. Don’t take a drink or call a friend, but be still.

I have seen congregations get divided and destroyed to gossip.
There are many pastors in my family. I even got told by my grandma (pastor) that I had a calling. Thanks to grandpa, who’s still alive and strong at 101. He talked me out of it
