Seek and You Shall Find: When You Realize You Need To…

(Watch 7-minute excerpt) Jesse told the story of a young man committed to doing right. He sensed something was wrong in his marriage and asked God to show him. That day, his wife admitted to cheating on him. She was truly sorry. Even the man she cheated with called the husband to apologize. The married couple are now working out their marriage. Be wise, but forgive.

An online viewer commented that he and his family were “cowards.” He tried to tell his brother “the truth” about himself, but he wouldn’t accept it. People have the right not to want to hear the truth, and we don’t have the right to force them. God loves us and warns us, but is patient with us, and allows us to reject him.

A young man visited us from Connecticut. He found Jesse via The Fallen State on YouTube. Jesse counseled him. He forgave his parents and found peace.

National Geographic promoted a 9-year-old boy named Avery Jackson, a “transgender activist” who feels like a girl. Jesse commented: This is evil. These parents hate their son. Jesse wrote “#WeakFather #EvilParents So sad.”

We read from Matthew 7:7-11 and Luke 11:9-13, and discussed what Jesus meant, “Seek and you shall find.” Jesse said that when you truly realize you need to seek God, you have already found him.
