3 Happy to sit through hell after Women’s Forum: follow-up

5A Married man speaks

(0:21:28) Bigg Bump, when you were dating, how did it go? Always wanted to be around them. Thought I needed to be around a female. Why? Don’t know why. (0:23:53) How is it being married in that condition? Hell. Looked to her for something, always. Arguments, situations, would get to me. (0:26:02) First child out-of-wedlock. So he married b/c he wanted his daughter to have a good example.

5B Married woman speaks 

(0:27:06) A gal: Dating was awful. Always a struggle. I wanted more. Maturity wasn’t there on both sides. (0:28:08) **JLP: When you were dating, and you went from man to man to man to man…  Did you think they’d be different? Or all the same? The gal: “I always kinda knew something was wrong with me, too.” (0:29:19) What did you want? “Love.” Married now, 14 years. Do you have the man you wanted? (0:29:59) Still a struggle… Church gave me ideas of what God wanted — religion. 

(0:31:05) Piss or get off the pot. I forced him. Disappointed you married to this one? Is he waking up? Some changes. 

5C Unmarried young lady on dating

(0:32:31) Young lady dating now. It’s ugly. Different guys. Same problems. Nobody wants to make the relationship last. Gonna be harder after this, seeing the truth. (0:33:24) What did you want from them? … And then you became a slut. Well, in my hoodrat days, I wanted to them to be so in love with me. Why did you pick the same type of man every time? 

(0:35:06) What is it like knowing you may never marry? Makes me sad. OK with being a childless woman? Would be with someone who has a kid. I’m great! I thought I was. 

5D Unmarried young man on dating 

(0:36:03) JLP: The young man next to you is looking for a woman… and he’s a beta. j/k… I was casually dating … Got what I wanted until I stopped wanting that… You take trips and have someone go with you sometimes. Want to marry one day? 

5E Anti-feminist on dating

(0:38:10) Another young lady: Dating is an awkward process… Not easy to get into. Feminism. What were you looking for? Always wanted traditional… Two good guys, I dated. I don’t get approached often. Looking for a man? Oh, yeah. Trying not to. Where do you look? Church! Make myself visible in a safe space. Don’t want a feminist or beta. Real man at church? White. Want to marry. “My purpose.” 

5F Married couple on disappointment in each other

5G Where did you meet the people you dated?

(0:47:08) Man looking for the S-word. Mama. Had no idea. Something to make the burning hole of loneliness go away. Where would you find them? At church. It was a mess. It failed online. They took my money! You lost your money and no woman! 

5H ‘Meaningful relationships’… ‘romantic person’… ‘S—’… 

(0:48:59) Nigerian gal speaks… They were interested in me… I wasn’t thinking except for meaningful relationships. 

(0:52:05) Young man: Something to put my energy into… I’m a “romantic” (quote-unquote) person. You ain’t never gonna get married. Where do you look? I go to yoga a lot. Look for someone who has peace. Would you like to get married one day? It doesn’t seem like it’s for me anymore. (0:54:21) You gonna die lonely! … Feel sad about it? When I talk about it to other people. 

5i Living together unmarried 

(0:55:24) Man: S— and physical attraction. I lived at home, didn’t have a job. Pretty important for women. (0:56:24) Yup, cuz they need your money! Walked up to a girl on the street promoting my band. Live together, been together 8 years now — no plan to have kids. “Companion.” A dog is cheaper — maybe not, nowadays! Organic like milk? Don’t wanna be lonely. “I don’t mind being alone.” 

5J Raymond, terrible person. Southern gal… 

(0:58:23) Raymond: I’m a terrible person, would not wish that on anyone. Age 66. Never dated ever. What’s that like? Exactly what I deserve. How did you come up with that? 

(0:59:54) Southern gal… Wanted manly. Got the exact opposite! Everyone in some form. Art gallery? “I don’t look!” (1:03:49) What kind of man do you want? “Someone who considers my day.” Fix my car, make my life easier. (1:05:03) Nick uses Google. 

5J Separated… man

Once you’re married it’s too late. You gotta make it work. Separated. If you’re not gonna have kids, don’t get married. Worst contract you can sign in CA. 

5L Separated woman with a great guy 

(1:09:12) Have you dated before? We’re married, but we’re separated. We get along great. You will in a separate house! (1:10:57) Drinking. Thought with kids, things would change. Bring responsibilities. Listened to the Devil, huh? Would marry again! Online? 

5M Romanced? Ladies… 

(1:12:31) You want to be romanced? Yes, says Southern Gal… In an alpha way, how can you romance a woman? By not romancing her! What would that look like? How would she know you’re interested? Because I told her!

5N ‘My helper, there to serve me’ Ambitious… 

(1:17:41) Man wanted good times… (1:18:59) JLP agrees: I never thought it would end! Painful when it ended. The man continues… (1:20:02) She’s OK with it that you’ll never marry her? No intention to have children. She’s my helper, there to serve me. 

(1:23:50) Your nature is ambitious? Winning is a reality; I like winning. I’m a force for good. Age 38. 

(1:25:08) JLP: Do you know God doesn’t want you to be ambitious. YOu’re not gonna win. Disagree. I don’t disagree. (1:27:22) What would happen… (1:27:57) You got a woman who’s a slave… 

(1:28:19) Second man: I look in strip clubs for women, says a man. “I love women.” Meaning what? “I love beautiful women…” How do you love them? I have multiple women. First girl 19 years. Not Muslim. Why not just one? I don’t think about it. I’m fully fulfilled. 100% honesty. Do you have perfect peace? Why do you need more than one? How is it fair to the one you have? Are you black? “I’m Persian.” No wonder! (1:31:39) Do you romance women?

6 JLP: Never will find the person; Seek first… 

(1:34:46) You’ll never find the man or woman you’re looking for. There’s a rule, if you don’t follow it, it’ll always be wrong, and never right. No matter where you look. (1:36:10) Principle: Seek first… You have not put that first! Unless you do that, you’ll never know God, and never have perfect peace. Unlearn everything. Not supposed to be wanting to date, to marry, s— word, fulfill yourself with anything or anyone. It’s a rule. Nothing else will work. … Be spiritual. Not what you think. … (1:37:59) … 

(1:38:24) An ambitious person is an evil person. (1:38:50) Ladies, romance? No. Men are mama’s boys. Every time, they’re disappointed you can’t lead them. What restaurant you wanna go? You can’t make a decision. And because she’s not working on herself… 

(1:40:16) Never think about a man or a woman again. Think of nothing but returning to the Father. Spirituality. Nothing good in religion. Don’t even try to be spiritual. There’s no wanting in it, nothing in it but life. (1:41:50) Not supposed to spend an ounce of time trying to make a relationship work. Shouldn’t be wanting for it. That’s why it’s not working. 

(1:42:21) You don’t love them. Getting married in hate, not in love. Don’t you know life will work on its own? Surrender to the Father. He’s your Father!…

7 Biblical Q: Don’t seek

(1:48:15) JLP: All thoughts are lies, and you should not want the approval of anyone. You’ve created a false illusion about the other person. … No different from you! 

(1:49:37) The way you stop is by being aware. Don’t try to make yourself not do it! Don’t put ANYONE on a pedestal. 

(1:50:14) Only seek the kingdom of heaven… People married 50, 60, 70 years, and miserable! Children messed up! You got it wrong! [Jesse clapping as he says…] Only seek the Kingdom… God is better. He knows more about Romance. He never bought flowers for anyone! Trust the Father. Trust Truth. … But if you like
