Biblical Question: Why do so many people commit suicide?

John 6: 66-67 (and context) Catholic | KJV | From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

What did it mean to you? Many people respond.

We’ve been lied to about Jesus.

(11:35) The Irishman asks: Is choosing to seek the truth a choice of ours?

Bear the cross.

Present your bodies a living sacrifice. Looking for love… Stop doing anything about it. Even the fear you have — bear it, face it.

(11:42) Death is an illusion. Die from the ego. Christians are waiting for something else from their interpretation of Revelations: We’ve already won. It’s already finished. Again: Preachers and teachers are on an ego trip, wanting to present themselves as smart. There’s nothing to be afraid of, to want, to need. It’s about letting it all go, not adding to… You’re not this fear, you’re not lonely, not a drug addict. It’s all an illusion. Christ died from the illusion so that we could do the same thing.

(11:46) A lot of people don’t stay on the path.

How to let the ego die
