2 Take control of your own life…

(0:10:21) The disciples asked how many times do I have to forgive? 70×7… always. There’s never a reason to be angry and not forgive. (0:12:20) Emotions are not necessary. The world tells you to

(0:12:33) New Orleans truck attack… (0:13:25) JLP: We’re not gonna let any terrorist stop us from our way of life. But these people aren’t stopping the terrorists! They’re the same people who let illegals in from all around the world. 

(0:14:49) Go for what you want, the world tells you. God said, Want for nothing. Yet you’ll have it all. When you go for what you want, you get nothing — b/c what you get is never enough. 

(0:15:51) The world says, Blame others for your problems. Blame, and become a victim. God said, Blame no one. You’re not a victim.

3 Protect yourself without anger 

(0:20:22) Man who attended Men’s Forum… got advice… Anyone who has anger (including in a confrontation) is a murderer. He was trying to get anger out of me. House manager at this crazy house I live in… The more I didn’t show anger, the angrier he got, the closer to hitting me. (0:23:03) I really appreciate your meditation… I laid down… 

(0:23:42) JLP: You can protect yourself physically without anger… Be aware of whatever’s happening on the inside, fear, anger, but do nothing about it. Let your whole body feel it, your mind. God will come and take those spirits away from you. 

(0:26:42) I didn’t show anything. The worse he got! They want to feel life. Anyone who has anger is dead. You’re giving them “life.” It’s a false life. 

(0:28:41) Move out of that place, you’re dealing with the Devil… 

3C Go through hell to get to heaven 

(0:29:38) JLP: Feel the hell that’s in you! Ever been to someone’s house, and the dog goes woof, woof, arf, arf! Down the road from the hell is eternal life. You gotta go through hell to get to heaven. 

Drop the anger 

(0:31:34) Mateus speaks… 

(0:32:36) JLP had the same thing… Had to have a gal waiting in the wings… God allowed me to see I had anger. 

(0:34:25) Mateus: People look at you like you’re crazy. (0:34:45) JLP: Can’t believe the number of people who think anger is good. 

4 Really? Want for nothing? Even losing weight? Watch yourself 

(0:35:05) One of the Jewish guys… bunch of thoughts telling me I do want something… even if it’s good for me? Lose a couple pounds. Should I not want to lose wait? Just go run. You have a better chance of losing it. 

(0:37:06) I copy what you say a lot. You’re identifying with me. Just see it. Don’t try to change it. You’ll get deeper into it. 

(0:37:52) JLP: Lazarus story… “He dead.” Let the dead bury the dead! You cry, and you didn’t even like that person. Watch it. All will change. 

4B Create the wrong situation in anger. Peter didn’t want to forgive 

(0:39:26) Another man: If anyone makes you angry, you should be grateful for them. … I stopped complaining. Learn to be grateful. JLP: You’d create the wrong situation in anger. Stillness allows God to create the right situation… 

(0:41:24) JLP shares Jesus story (probably from The Chosen): Simon hated the tax collector. Ticked! Unwilling to forgive Matthew! … The disciples got mad when Simon was renamed Peter. “I can’t be a rock!” Peter was like, I can’t forgive him! 

(0:46:38) Jesse gets back to the man… 

5 Be nice? No, mama! James and John listened to their mother 

(0:47:07) Lady has to stand up for a minute… She encourages Terry (sp) to be nice to the angry guy… Jesse interrupts her to say no, and then tells a story of the mother of James and John putting them up to talk to Jesus to be seated on his left and right side. Jesus was like, No, that’s insane! They listened to the mama! 

(0:50:54) Bad advice… The lady encourages the man to spread happiness. Jesse says he needs to feel what’s inside him. And NOT cater to the guy! The guy will feel right! (0:52:24) No, mama! Ok… 

5B Stop taking on identities; Having fun; The greatest sin 

(0:52:35) Man asks a question — and Jesse responds… (0:53:49) JLP: Don’t let anyone tell you you’re a smoke addict … You have false identities! There is only one truth and one fact: God is the only One. Stop taking on other gods, other identities. 

(0:55:31) No such thing as a nice human being… You have the Devil’s nature. It’s always plotting, conniving… 

(0:56:17) Tremble in your boots: I’m having fun, says another man. (0:57:01) JLP: I wouldn’t think, Something else will open up. That’s another thought. … It will be fun. It’s difficult in the beginning. 

(0:58:04) JLP: If you go unconscious, forget to be present. The greatest sin. The Devil will come right in and take you over. Practice being present. Don’t judge it. The Devil is your enemy! 

6 Lying to avoid family? Feeling guilty? But “I’m nobody.” 

(0:59:00) My Jewish family gets together a lot… I like that you call it fellowship, instead of Church. “‘That’s messed up, Ryan’… So I just say I’m out of town.” You lie to them? “Straight up.” 

(1:02:41) Feel guilty? Who are you? If you’re nobody, how can you feel guilty? “You got me.” (1:03:53) JLP: You don’t owe them an explanation why you’re not coming. 

“I’m nobody,” but you identify… (1:04:29) I’m trying to kill the ego. How? Stop looking for counsel with thoughts. I feel thoughts help me understand the situation. 

Will that process speed up and not take as long? (1:05:38) JLP: That’s the Devil asking that, and get behind me, Satan. You gotta completely let go. Surrender… 

(1:06:05) JLP: The way to know if you’re judging, if you get emotional. Don’t pretend. Be honest with yourself. If you’re not angry, it’s impossible to judge. You’ll be able to discern. …. Who are you to judge someone else? You’re agreeing with it if you judge. (1:07:33) When she’s cryin’, she’s lyin’. … You can disagree without being angry. You wanna do the trans thing? Fine with me! 

(1:08:15) Christ said, forgive seventy times seven… Don’t have to play — they have a right not to want to  play with you. 

7 Don’t wanna go to a party? Appeasement, obligation 

(1:08:46) JLP: Some of you gonna be mad at me. I want you to be free, not play with the Devil. The Devil does not want you to be still and know the truth. He lives in human beings. 

(1:09:27) A man: Might upset mothers or families… How do you decide to do something in the best interest of everybody else, but not you? 

(1:10:19) JLP: I know someone who didn’t go to a family event like normal. Jesus has arrived. 

JLP: Say I invite you to a party, but you decline. “I thought you were my friend.” I didn’t think you were my friend, I thought I could use you. I took away your right to be yourself. (1:11:52) Don’t get in your head and make up lies. Because you want to or don’t want to. You are free. 

7B Would you be mad? Queen of obligation 

(1:13:44) Would you be mad if they didn’t go. (She said “damn” in church.) I’m the queen of obligation. JLP: What a beta! That’s what life is, doing a bunch of things you don’t wanna do. That’s all of our lives… 

(1:15:11) Did you forgive your mother? 

(1:15:37) Joel: I agree: If you want to, go… (1:16:01) JLP: Now I gotta get drunk so I can enjoy the party! Pressure… The first man asks: Why pressure? You can have fun anywhere. 

7C I love the Jews, though 

(1:17:22) The Jews have a party EVERY Friday! Get rid of tradition. And live a free life. Christ said live a free life. Perfect peace. 

(1:18:12) Jewish guy’s follow-up… JLP: I love the Jews, though… Jewish guy: From their side… (1:19:39) It’s best for the child: No, I’m not going to Chuck E Cheese today. They will grow up not needing to be lied to. Then if you ever get married, you gotta lie to your wife. You wanna go to the bar. Stop lying. SHow love. Just don’t get angry. Don’t judge. 

(1:20:46) Asian guy: We don’t really know the real big picture. Could make the person see themself. “And he Chinese…. Ooo!” 

8 Be the one inmate who walked out of prison 

(1:21:41) JLP: It’s time to live. Stop living death. Overcome the world. In the world but not of the world. Christ… You’ll be the one inmate who walked out of the prison. The gates are wide open. Satan talked them out of leaving. Misery loves company. 

(1:23:23) Family parties with JLP: I got to where I didn’t wanna go anymore… 

(1:24:25) Franky’s friend went to prison 15 years or so… Lived with his mom afterward. Mother died. He went and did a crime to go back to prison. That was his life. (1:25:07) JLP: People love being in prison. You love being in prison. 

(1:25:36) It’s your parents fault that you went into prison … Their morality doesn’t work! Rules don’t work… 

9 Do you have character? 

(1:27:24) Biblical Question: Tomer (sp): Do you have character? What is it? Yes… Discipline: What you want now vs what you want most. 

(1:28:25) Another man, one of the Asians: No. I always need validation from people. I want them to say it’s good. 

(1:29:14) Alex on BQ: Probably yes, probably too much. More character, more pain. 

(1:30:05) Daniel: No. It’s temporary. 

9B Lady, a mother, with her daughter … Haven’t forgiven mother? 

(1:30:23) Lady, the mother of another gal who spoke: No. I don’t understand it. 

(1:31:12) Surprised your daughter doesn’t have any resentment? Yes. Do you believe her? No. It’ll come to her. Could it hold me back? (1:32:21) JLP: It’ll only hold you back if you’re afraid to be yourself with her. 

(1:32:48) Man: I thought I did. Have you forgiven your mother? No. What a beta. A bit scared of what to deal with… (1:33:44) JLP: If you don’t face hell, how will you get to heaven? I’m 30.
