(0:18:25) **JLP: Growing up, all my life I never had a Bible. We didn’t read it. Then I get out here to Los Angeles and everybody’s into the Bible, and nutty. …. Back to Derrick.

How long would $6M last you? 

(0:23:56) Are you a millennial? Jesse asks another man how long $6M would last him. Different people have different ideas.

Has your wife backed off? Can’t help her work on herself. 

(0:27:13) A young husband speaks on the BQ. (0:27:51) Are you working on yourself? Has your wife backed off? A little, but not all the way. He’s trying to figure out how to deal with her, support her in working on herself. You can’t support her! You can’t help her work on herself.

(0:36:51) Asking another man — JLP explains why he asks this. In counseling, a person says: It’s so hard! He got worse, stopped working out, stopped praying, and is beta with his girlfriend! 

(0:39:53) The other man answers — (0:40:47) Why don’t you let yourself die? I’m holding on to some identities; I’m comfortable, don’t want to be nothing. The first man also answers… 

**He almost died, but returned to craziness; Every human the Devil 

(0:42:57) The first man who spoke today, Joseph: Afraid of dying … (0:43:37) He almost died. But he went back to smoking pot, painted his nails… It was like life was leaving his body. 

(0:47:24) JLP: Every human being is the Devil, a demon. They do the Devil’s work, same fears, doubts, jealousies, loneliness. 

(0:48:55) Raymond relates to it… Why don’t you let yourself die — we’re talking about spiritually. 

(0:50:11) Omeed was meditating once in the past, around age 13, focused on everything and nothing: Everything fell apart and away, and he shook it off.

(1:04:24) The young wife answers… (1:04:49) What is it like being married to her? The husband answers: Yes, I think I do have amnesia. 

(1:06:21) What do you think about this question? It’s thought provoking, the man says. 

(1:06:51) A man says: We must’ve existed before we were born.

Pay attention to yourself during the week. Come to fellowship, not to get.  

(1:09:50) JLP: During the week: Pay attention to yourself. Have something to say. Don’t wait for me to say something. You don’t come to fellowship, you just come to get. You have a Teacher within. 

Letting your self die: Is it a process? 

(1:11:20) Let yourself die? Is it a process? 

(1:13:22) JLP: It’s not a process. You could do it right now. 

**Questions from a gal: Jesus, Joseph? Drop logic 

(1:13:55) Lijie has questions: Jesus didn’t have a human father? Joseph his “stepdad”? Mary his mom? JLP: Our lineage is God.

The heart is evil. What’s difficult or confusing about that? 

How is it important? Joel explains… 

(1:18:30) JLP: You’re in your head, and thinking about the wrong things. Logical thinking is dumb, except for practical reasons. When the Devil tempts you with that kind of thinking, let it pass. 

**Why don’t we read the Bible here? 

(1:21:32) Why don’t we read the Bible here? It’s the Word of God? JLP: The Word of God is in your heart. You trust an outer source, and not the inner source. 

(1:23:58) Man: I read the Bible every day, been doing it three years. My comprehension of the Bible has changed dramatically since coming here. Cover to cover — I’m on my fourth time.

(1:25:41) Raymond: Why don’t we contribute more to this fellowship? What do I possibly have that I can offer here? 

(1:27:00) Nick makes Jesse drink, talking about logic (funny moment). (1:28:08) But anyways, hope and faith… 

(1:30:18) Doug on hope: He lost hope, deep in his head about a situation. When he saw Trump raise his hand, he had “hope” again. He realized how in his head he is. (Jesse looks over at Hake and makes him laugh.) 

(1:32:18) Donyale on BQ: Nothing to hope for … She contributes questions and comments in church, and thought her story from months back was profound. 

Faith and Fear: “Joe” 

(1:34:16) Joseph (Joe) speaks more on faith 

(1:35:13) JLP: The way to have faith is letting it go — something like that… 

(1:43:15) Do you understand you have to let it happen no matter what? 

JLP on BQ: No faith, no hope, don’t want it.  

(1:45:03) JLP: You don’t have faith, you don’t have hope, and you don’t want it. You’re afraid of dying because you have fake hope. In dying, you have to come weary, lonely, afraid… Come as you are — you are the nature of the Devil! 

(1:46:35) You don’t believe in God. 

(1:47:07) Joe gives feedback: Crazy, thinking he’s himself. Give up your life to save it. 

(1:49:07) JLP: Thoughts and emotions, the nature of the Devil: the world pushes it, worshiping the Devil, keeping you in Hell! Stay with it. 

(1:51:09) Most won’t get it; they’ll go back into Hell. He thought he was going insane. 

(1:52:07) Straight and narrow is not easy. Stay with it. It’s not your fear.

Faith vs sex … Feedback: Devil, darkness 

(1:58:00) … Don’t have faith in God… Sex example: Doing it to make babies vs for a thrill. Stop telling yourself you can’t help yourself. You’ve got to die. And you are unconscious
