Pastor Commits Suicide: What’s the Purpose of Being Born Again? (Church 9/15/19)

Church on Sunday, September 15, 2019, streamed live video 11 AM PT on YouTube, Facebook, Periscope, DLive, Twitch, and Mixer! NOTE: The latter three platforms (DLive, Twitch, and Mixer) do not preserve past videos long, but are great platforms for watching live.

Look for Church audio recordings of the service afterward on Apple, TuneIn, Spreaker, Stitcher, and SoundCloud, also findable via rebuildingtheman.com/church

This week a Christian pastor Jarrid Wilson reportedly committed suicide. What’s the purpose of being born again if you’re still “depressed” with no peace?

Christian Pastor Commits Suicide

Watch 23-minute Short Cut (from the hour and 39-minute service): Pastor Suicide: He Was Not Born Again

Jesse starts off telling about news of a Christian pastor Jarrid Wilson of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, committing suicide! Several people in church respond to quotes about Jarrid after his death from Jarrid’s wife, Juli, and his head pastor, Greg Laurie. His wife said that she needed him, but that he needed to be with Jesus. Both were saying he went to be with Jesus, along with Laurie’s son! How do they know? Should they say that?

A woman at church had a loved one who committed suicide, a married woman shot herself four times outside her home! The “church” has become the same as the world, going along with the “mental illness” mess. So they have no hope.

What Is the Purpose of Being Born Again?

Jesse asked the question: What is the purpose of being born again if you’re going to have the same misery after being born again? In other words, what is the purpose of salvation? One woman said, “Freedom…” knowing that she’ll be with the Lord when she passes. But we don’t know where we’ll go when we die. That’s up to God!

One young lady said that the purpose of salvation is to be the light of the world. She said she’s been doing the Silent Prayer for five days and nights. Later, she asks about shyness with her family, and wanting them to be born again.

A man dealing with nicotine withdrawals says he’s not born again, but is unclear on whether he has anger or not.

How Jesse Overcame

Jesse then says that if you’re a son of God, you have peace. He told of seeing the dark spirit in himself 30 years ago. Soon afterward, he realized that he hated his parents, but he could see he was wrong. So he went and forgave his mother, and God gave him a sound mind and perfect peace. He also reconnected with his father, and became one with him. Now he is a living being, not feeling the outside stresses of the world. He now recognizes the thoughts of worry and doubt as Satan’s voice.

People who commit suicide are listening to the voice of Satan. (Jesse mentions a TV show “Black Women Own the Conversation” that’s horrible! Fat women tell things that aren’t true.) Over the last thirty years, Jesse has been changing, and can’t imagine wanting to commit suicide anymore. (He later mentions that he tried taking pills in his 20s after a breakup, because the woman had become his god.) But Jarrid Wilson did kill himself, as a “pastor”!

Jesse tells about speaking at funerals for his uncle and for the mother of a friend, and telling the truth about them. It’s best to tell the truth, and not lie and make things sound nice, so that people can hear and take a warning from others’ lives. If you have a crazy mind, an angry mind, Satan is your daddy!

Others Speak…

Ermias speaks up and talks about the “Black Women Own the Conversation” TV show on Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). They complained about “racism” in the workplace, one woman worrying about her adult black sons who say racism doesn’t exist.

Ermias also points out that the more society talks about a topic, the worse it gets! For example, his son’s school puts information about suicide on the back of students’ school ID cards!

Jesse points out that the world is backwards and crazy. They support abortion, yet a girl who had a stillborn baby got in trouble for attempting to burn the body and not tell anyone.

Another man spoke about a good friend of his, a woman who committed suicide three years ago. She went to the doctor because she thought she was “depressed.” So she took strong prescription drugs to deal with the depression, and her personality went “from day to night.” That prescription had side effects of “suicidal thoughts” that got worse as you ween off the drugs! So she killed herself.

Preachers are now referring church members to the world for help. You have to be crazy to go to a psychiatrist! The problem is psycho-spiritual. It’s not physical!

Announcements…

Mark, Jesse’s bodyguard, got married this week! Congratulations! Others too are getting engaged and talking about wanting to be married.

I read about the suicide of pastor Jarrid Wilson. Sorry for the lost of a loved one. But what got me is that everyone places Jarrid in heaven. The article stated that because he suffered mental illness, he will be in heaven (statement of that effect). That’s dangerous because they’re stipulating or giving people the idea that if we suffer from mental illnesses, than it’s alright in the eyes of God to take our own life by suicide and go to heaven! That’s wrong!
I also suffer depression, anxiety etc. And I’m a Christian! In one point in my dark life, I made a noose over a rafter, stood on a chair, and put the noose around my neck . That’s when God spoke to my heart and told me,” You know where you’re going if you do that”!
God was right! I knew that if I commit or anyone commits suicide will go to hell because it is plain “Murder” of oneself! We break scriptures and God is bound by His Word in Galatians 5:21 …no murderers…..shall enter the kingdom of heaven “.

People needs to know that depression, anxiety attacks are of demonic origin. I know because I suffered from these many years. But now that I know it’s demonic, I have a fighting chance and victory through Jesus Christ! That’s the first scripture that Jesus read before He started His ministry where he read from the book of Isaiah in Luke 4:18:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because of which He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth in deliverance the oppressed,“
Note: “proclaim deliverance to the captives” is those who are bound in drugs, pornography etc. and “send forth in deliverance the oppressed “, that’s bound by depression, anxiety etc!
