Church Notes

11:00 AM US PDT We start streaming just after the top of the hour. Happy Mother’s Day, to all of the mothers!

Afraid of what’s happening? Food shortage scare?

11:02 A first-time visiting mother joins us with her daughter and her father. The mother is afraid of what’s happening in the world, protecting her daughter. Jesse encourages the girl to speak up but don’t be angry. He then gets to her father, David. He’s a little sad about the direction of the country.

11:09 Alexis says it’s a mess; it’s the first time she’s paid attention to what’s happening, and she realizes others are not paying attention.

11:12 Another young lady talks about Roe v. Wade possibly being struck down. She says she’s not bothered by what’s happening in the world, despite all of the evil and threats of food shortages.

Seeing a child being abused? Fear of the world?

11:14 Jesse asks a man: If you saw someone beating a child in the market, how would you feel?

11:16 Jesse mentions the man who attacked comedian Dave Chappelle on-stage: The attacker got a misdemeanor, not charged with a felony! It can get worse!

Kill a chicken? Kill a hog?

11:17 A man says just to have faith in God. Jesse asks him what he does to prepare. He bought property, and is learning how to skin a goat. Jesse asks him how to kill a chicken. Jesse also asks him how to kill a hog.

JLP: The Devil is influencing you

11:22 Jesse says the “nonjudgmental” people are the most judgmental! In reality, we’re no better than Hitler or the woman slapping the kid. You will see the Devil is influencing you.

As a woman, fear attacks and crime?

11:23 Another young lady grew up around the Y2K scare; her mother bought buckets of food. She bought a taser, doesn’t stare at her phone, and pays attention.

Jesse asks her: How do you know God will protect you? She does not go out at night on her own.

JLP: Take responsibility for yourself

11:27 Jesse urges you: Take control of your own life. Become your own person. Only a daughter or son of the Devil would turn their lives over to someone else. Everything happening in our government is happening in each individual.

It’s only easy to be on the straight and narrow if you’re willing to endure it. It will become easier as you grow out of the darkness. Others don’t have it better than you.

Let no one teach you anything, even in these meetings we have. Don’t intellectually learn it, or you may be deceived into thinking you don’t hate or blame others. Be careful of learning things, because the Devil will teach you. A person who knows doesn’t teach you. A person who learns and pretends to know teaches you.

We’re not the feelings, mind, or bodies.

Present your bodies as a living sacrifice

Jesse references Romans 12 in the scriptures, which says to “present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

Pray for your enemy. God will take over. You let it happen, and you’ll lose all your identities with anything.

Practice not overreacting to the little things

11:33 Jesse mentions what he learned to do 30 years ago. From this day forward, practice not overreacting to the little things. Then you’ll be stronger to overcome the bigger things.

You can’t blame someone else for your own following of someone else.

Those who seek God, he will allow you to see. He will not judge you. Human beings judge one another, not God.

Messed up marriages

11:36 Jesse tells a story of a man who went to church to look for a wife. He has problems with his wife. Many Christians say you should not get divorce, but most marriages are not done under the umbrella of God.

There are people marrying because they’re lonely. Another person won’t stop you from being lonely.

You shouldn’t even marry thinking you want children. That’s a false feeling!

If something is missing in you, draw closer to the Father; get to know yourself; don’t replace that feeling with anything. Get to know yourself. It’s not about someone else.

You’re no better!

Overcome the ego completely. You’re no better than the woman beating the child! It’s easy to wake up, to admit you’re wrong. Then you love God, and then you have to die. That’s hard because you’re so identified with the not-you, your thoughts and feelings.

If you lose, let it go. You will gain.

Never try to argue with or convince an angry person. When husbands and wives are together; one should never argue with the other. Watch how the Devil acts if he has to argue by himself.

Mothers hold onto their adult children, thinking they’ll

Romans 12: 1-4

11:45 James reads Romans 12: 1-4…

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office…

Let life happen

Jesse says he’s never had anything to do with his own life. Treat your enemy the way you would like to be treated.

11:49 Jesse talks about love, how to know you have love. One way: You don’t feel anything when someone attacks you. The other way: You don’t need anything from anybody. People turn on one another when they get what they want, or when they don’t get what they want. Grow into that. You can’t make it happen.

Questions: Confronting the child abuser?

11:50 One young lady asks about the idea of telling a woman beating her child that she’s crazy. But who are you to judge the woman as crazy, when you are too? It’s crazy to go up to such a woman in that situation.

Similarly, if you tell a friend she has food in her teeth, it’s fine if you don’t get an ego feeling out of it. But you can’t prevent the ego feeling; you have to let it die.

See the Devil in you; it’s not you

11:58 One man says we used to know to mind our own business. And in speaking up, you don’t have to speak up every single time.

Jesse talks about seeing the Devil inside you; he urges you, from now on, to stop claiming, “I feel” such-and-such. Stop claiming you’re a drug addict. You’re not that.

Q: The ego death is painful?

12:03 One lady says she does not understand what Jesse means by the ego death being painful.

One man responds but adds concerns… So Jesse asks his Biblical Question:

BQ: Do you live in your confusion?

12:07 Jesse asks the man: Do you live in your confusion? Do you think you should or should not live in your confusion?

12:09 Jesse asks the lady, a first-timer, if she lives in her confusion.

12:10 Another man says he should not live in his confusion.

12:11 Yet another man does not understand the question

It’s the same spirit everywhere / BQ continued…

12:13 Jesse asks Hassan: Do you live in your confusion? No. There’s nothing to be confused about, Hassan says. He says the awareness of our darkness is the light.

12:14 Jesse says he would have judged the pro-abortion ladies, but he realizes they cannot see. We may not be protesting to kill babies, but we’re judging and gossiping. It’s the same spirit everywhere. That doesn’t mean we accept abortion as right. We cannot judge the people, which makes you a murderer.

Hassan says the vices are the symptoms of sin. We’re looking at ourselves judging ourselves when we judge others, Jesse says.

12:16 Jesse asks Doug: Do you live in your confusion? He says he’d like to think he doesn’t live in his confusion. Why not?

He asks several other people including the Experts: Nick, Chris, and Hake, who also reads a few Super Chat questions and comments.

Should we get a marriage license? Can the ego ever fully die?

JLP: We should live in our confusion

12:27 A little girl answers the Biblical Question. We owe it to God … Live in that ego; don’t have a conversation about it. You’re not going to live until you pay. The payment is dying.

Don’t worry about what happens. Let it happen. That confusion is not of God, and is not of you. Every situation you’ve had in your life has been pushing you toward that, so you can see this must die. But you’ve been fighting against it, keeping it alive.

Unless you die, you won’t live. In order to live you must be born again.

Last week BQ: What’s in the dark will come to the light

What’s in the dark will come to the light means you go to God with it and let go.

12:35 Jesse explains to Hassan; the confusion is the thoughts, doubt, and feelings that come. Don’t fight it; let it be; live in it and let go. The last thing the Devil wants is for you to let it happen. The Devil nature in you is dying.

Many people are “aware” intellectually, and think they’re aware, but spiritually they are not aware.

12:39 Let that die. When the world comes against you, they’re doing you a favor, and don’t know it. Let yourself be embarrassed. It’s not you being embarrassed, but the ego in you. Live in that confusion, but don’t give into what the Devil’s telling you.

Stay on the straight and narrow path! You are not your sins! You’re possessed. We all are. Stay with the Silent Prayer. Watch. Don’t join teams. Be alone.
