1A – Out of the basement: Drop anger; Say goodbye to ego 

(0:02:10) – Any Q’s? May as well go home! 

(0:02:24) Anyone out of the basement, to the 3rd floor? (0:03:04) JLP: First step: You must forgive. Won’t conquer fear as long as you have anger… Always of the world, miserable. Hold onto anger (0:04:27) always be subject to thoughts. Even if you try not to be of the world… Step 1: drop the anger. 

(0:05:00) Second step: Say goodbye to the ego. But you want that relationship with it. 

1B – What does ego mean? “I.” Nature of the Devil 

(0:07:09) – Alexis: I don’t believe the ego is real — it sounds made-up. (0:07:45) Anger is what? Evil. Ego nature of the Devil. Stuck on the word ego? What does ego mean? 

(0:09:09) Lady has example of ego… driving… “I wanted to be first.” 

(0:10:39) Let me go to the white man. (0:10:50) Hake: It means “I.” JLP: Yep. All about you. Alexis responds… it passes…

1C – How do you say goodbye to the ego? 

(0:13:08) – Three steps… First… You can say goodbye to evil right now. Who understands? Steps a little slow today… Endurance this year. It’s the Devil — she’s right. First step… say goodbye to the ego, what do I mean? (0:14:28) Younger man responds. Go through the stabs, pain. How do you say goodbye to it?

1D – Let it happen, die from it. Taking care of the body? 

(0:17:49) – Step one: Die from the ego. Anyone with any association is of the Devil. No relationship with the “I,” with “me.” Let it happen! 

(0:19:22) – Q: Approach it with practical ideas… take vitamins? Exercise makes your mind clearer. So we shouldn’t worship the body, he says. Can the physical stuff help the spirit? No. 

(0:22:44) … You can have an amazing workout or meal without ego being involved? (0:23:00) JLP example: black people dancing at the gym. (0:23:57) Thru Silent Prayer, all things come together. 

2B – Admit your evil. GWH tee: An emotional person will lie. 

(0:24:36) – Hake clarifying: Forgive, admit you’re wrong, evil, have no love, are angry, drop anger. (0:25:19) Then you can say goodby to the ego. 

An emotional person is wicked, lying. (0:26:17) Example: They asked about his Great White Hope t-shirt … He’s white! (0:28:15) Why blacks always think they’re coming for them?… I’m afraid I can’t afford…! He’s lying! He has money! He lied; he can’t be trusted. An angry person is an emotional person, and they will lie.

(0:31:10) JLP: An emotional person … Gotta drop the anger. 

2B – Argued with Bible thumper sister for two hours before he knew it! 

(0:33:01) – Man asks: Hot spring, NE Nevada, Eric (sp), strangers hang out. I drive a diesel truck without smog stuff. Girl went off about the environment. I dropped it and let it go. Bible thumper sister theological discussion about the trinity and worshiping Jesus — two hours discussing! I’d been patting myself on the back! Two hours! How does that happen?! Unconscious. Ego. (0:35:40) JLP: You didn’t catch it. Wanted to prove you’re right. He interrupts. Catch yourself and stop right in the middle of the argument. Edging God Out. 

(0:36:38) – Man in business asks people how their day is. They go off on emotional tangents. Let them be mad by themselves. (0:37:29) JLP: He went on trying to prove something. Never argue with the Devil in your mind or others’ mind. The man continues. 

2C – Never try to control others: Marriage; Go through hell 

(0:38:04) – JLP: You can say goodbye to the ego. You won’t have a relationship with it, and won’t try to control anyone else. Business, marriage — men and women try to control each other. “You’re not obeying me.” Men have it bad. Women: You don’t care about my feelings! Say goodbye to the ego. The only reason you don’t have perfect peace (0:39:48) You don’t want perfect peace. 

(0:40:08) – 1: Admit you’re wrong. 2: Abandon the ego. 

(0:40:27) – Not a question, says Anita — on saying bye to the ego — being OK being in hell all the time…. (0:42:16) JLP: Be satisfied going through hell. Go all the way through it. The greater the pain, the better it is. The greater the fear. Don’t try to soothe the fear. 

(0:42:44) – Make sense, Lily (sp)? Being emotional doesn’t help at all. All about self; it won’t protect you. 

3A – Nothing has happened to you. Pride: Angry at Iranians? Victim attitude. 

(0:43:18) – JLP: Unless it was physical, nothing has ever happened to you. 

(0:44:35) – Man says ego is another word for pride. I’m a disappointment to my mom, but whatever. (0:45:31) JLP: How you get mad at the Iranians? “It’s not them, it’s the way they are!” (0:47:28) Alexis and Jesse: You’d deal with them perfectly. 

(0:48:22) – You say yes to the low pay; they hire illegal… You have pride dealing with these people! (0:49:24) – Alexis, a gratitude for what you have. I hear complaints: Attitude, victim. (0:50:53) – They hire people who do a crappy job; and then I have to fix it. You volunteered and fixed it free. I don’t wanna see a broken fence. 

(0:51:47) – JLP: You don’t see what’s going on inside of you. Do right. Be right. 

3B – Respect your price. Prideful person 

(0:52:34) – Alex: Respect your price. If you do good work, they’ll hire you. I don’t do it free; I’m not that nice. I tear everything out if the low bidder does a bad job, and do it over. And they pay almost double my original bid. 

(0:54:07) – Doug: I, me… Do you see you’re a prideful person? 

3C – Dealing with tough negotiators: They want you emotional 

(0:55:13) – Eric: Persians/Iranians seem tough, strong negotiators. If you’re genuinely fair, take it or leave it, they keep coming back. They want you to get emotional. It’s a trick — easier to manipulate. 

4A – Very little hope in men. Not sure men should lead anymore. 

(0:57:35) – I’m doing well, considering life testing me, says the Norwegian-sounding gal who’s back. (0:58:29) – I’ve allowed myself to be abused… Not a victim: I have allowed it. Can tell you’ve been through a lot. 

(1:01:41) – Have very little hope in men. Man should be the leader of the family, of countries, community. I’m not so sure about that. (1:02:25) Most men are very weak. We allow ourselves to be pushed to our edge of sanity, and then they call us crazy. 

4B – A man should not lead your life. “Ego death”? 

(1:02:49) – JLP: A man should not be the leader of your life. You’re evil for allowing it to happen. Two devils want something from each other. … She talks about going through ego death. 

(1:04:32) – JLP: But you haven’t gone through the ego death. There’s no more thinking. Even going through it, you catch yourself not thinking about it. Ego is about thinking. In God there is no thinking. You and the Devil are one, thinking. When you thought you were going through it, you were not going through it. 

(1:05:27) – You’re never supposed to turn your life to anyone. God’s supposed to lead you. 

4C – Disagrees with God’s order… Angry at myself for choices 

(1:05:52) – She no longer believes in the order of man, woman, children… You’ve picked the wrong man! That order does not work. It does work. You haven’t done it with the right person. Just because you don’t see people living it, doesn’t make it not real. (1:06:45) JLP: All men and all women marry the Devil… 

(1:07:15) – You can have perfect peace in a relationship, but the other will try to destroy it. A perfectly peaceful person would never get in a relationship like that. 

(1:07:59) – How are you feeling right now? (1:08:22) Still mad at the person who “abused” you? Silent prayer, then cursing at her phone after text message. Still angry. 

(1:09:18) – JLP: Drop the thought. Don’t blame him. 

(1:10:02) – Angry at myself for the choices I’ve made: Lucas responds… Are you present now? Or in your head? Am I asking the right question? Nothing wrong with me, but angry at myself. (1:11:17) Lucas: Silent prayer, it’s not you. 

(1:11:47) Young lady with glasses, Marissa (sp) – 

4D – You didn’t make that choice. 

(1:12:30) – JLP: You did not make that choice to go into the relationship. The spirit of evil made you do it. (1:13:29) Who are you mad at for the choices you made? 

(1:15:02) – Another younger man: You wanted to obey… conforming with your ego, not focusing on being still, the silent prayer 

(1:16:22) – How the not-me mad at the not-me? Beautiful journey… (1:17:08) … I knew the right decision, but didn’t want to because of how painful it’d be, even though it was painful in it. 

4E – You loved the pain. There’s no you to be mad at. 

(1:18:03) – JLP: The real reason you stayed was because you loved the pain. (1:18:36) – There’s no you to be mad at. The not-me cannot talk to the not-me. The Devil talking to himself pretending to talk to you. (1:20:00) – She catches herself reacting, but won’t respond or fight with him. First step is not to have an emotional reaction at all… 

4F – Don’t smash his car! False nature. Don’t look for the idea. 

(1:21:03) – I’m gonna take a baseball bat, and I’m gonna smash his car! That feels good. (1:22:07) – JLP and she discuss more. Always going thru something. 

(1:23:24) – Dolores: If you deal with the false nature it’ll come back around… Wise women. I made my husband my god; it went wrong. Can’t love God double-minded. Going into relationships is double-minded. Nothing right 

(1:25:46) – JLP Got into situation with a false nature. Uneasy feeling. Trying to resolve situation with a wrong nature. A wrong nature will never make things right. Your nature is wrong. Live with that uneasy feeling, it feels… (1:27:15) – She speaks — don’t keep him away from the kids! If you had kids, don’t keep them away! 

(1:27:53) – Hake… The idea of the order of God is not right; you try to live what you think is right, and it’s not right. JLP: It happens naturally without any idea. 

(1:29:07) – And don’t hate men just because you’ve been beat up by one. She sees her father in a different light… “obeying” will have to wait… Never think about obeying a man. (1:29:54) – He’ll destroy you. Pack up and leave. Welcome back to the hospital. 

5A – …Step 3: Become love. Love God. 

(1:30:18) – Step one: Admit you’re wrong, evil, angry, judging; can’t even judge even yourself. Number two: Abandon, say goodbye, to the ego nature. Stop thinking that way; it’ll be over. Ignore it completely, even if it tries to argue with you… tempt you. Stop identifying or associating with it period. Have no association with the ego. 

(1:31:36) – Number three: From this point forward, you can only be of love. You have to become love. And no hate. No judgment. (1:32:12) Love God with all your heart, soul, might. You’ll love your enemy, your neighbor as yourself. Not that emotional fake love. 

(1:34:12) – Love does not judge. You must have a relationship with love. “I have a relationship with God.” If you have no love, you don’t. Love is not a feeling. 

(1:35:43) – Won’t become of Love unless you abandon the ego. 

(1:37:15) – You would stop looking for romance… Light of the world… 

5B – Christian grandma said to love everyone. 

(1:40:10) – Man’s grandma said you have to love everyone. I told her I don’t love my dad. Got out of prison. (1:42:28) – JLP: Just don’t hate him. 

5C – Leave them if they try to control you. 

(1:42:41) – Any Q about love? Don’t hate, don’t judge. Ego makes you judge and hate other people. If they don’t stop trying to control you, a man or woman, leave them. You’re not obligated to stay with anyone trying to control you. The Bible’s talking about the ones God brought together, not Satan. 

(1:43:48) – Admit you’re evil, wrong for being angry. Two, abandon the ego today. 

(1:44:55) Stay with the light. Keep your mind where the body is. Love is not being with someone who abuses you. … Don’t turn to the left or right. Stay on the straight and narrow.

6B – JLP: Love life: Stop having a relationship with evil 

(1:53:16) – JLP: You can get to a point where you love life. Love living. Stop having a relationship with evil. As Alexis said, it is Satan. Stop having a conversation with the Devil. You don’t have to have it! He’s trying to take you off track and focus on him. 

(1:54:47) – Don’t judge. Jesus never said you have to confess Jesus as your Lord and savior. He said: Love God, pick up your cross, and follow me. God is about love. He expresses it through us if we stay in present. He really will. Every human being can do it if they want to be free. You are responsible for you. 

(1:55:35) – Starting now, forgive, drop your anger, and stop trying to punish people. Don’t have long conversations tryna prove. Egos tryna prove they’re right. Drop the fight. Be free. Salvation is about love. 

6C – Don’t tell friends you don’t trust them unless they ask. Just don’t hang out. 

(1:56:28) – Lucas Q… I say I love them but I don’t trust them. (1:57:03) – Why tell them that? I say I don’t trust them, but we can still hang out. You don’t have to tell them, I don’t trust you. Whoop there it is! Jesse sings 

07 – You won’t hate anyone. New BQ: Assumed innocent, assumed guilty? 

(1:58:28) – You’ll love life. You’ll have amazing life. God made you to be free.
