09 – JLP on the Mother Question, BQ: Trainwreck! Consulting with thoughts
(1:08:12) – JLP on what good is it doing you to have a mother. Good friend sending mother to foreign country. (1:10:00) We’re just not supposed to resent them! Honoring parents.
(1:10:26) JLP on BQ … (1:11:45) Fine girlfriend, dating Lakers bball players, not the WHOLE team. Walked her over the hospital where I worked, so people could see me with her. (1:12:57) Getting another girlfriend, because they don’t last!
(1:15:30) Consciousness separate from thoughts
(1:16:45) “My heart goes out to you” again… You’re not being your real self. A showcase personality… Thoughts… Awareness will not let you — consciousness isolates you from thoughts. The Spirit of God. Resist going along with the thoughts. Just don’t do ‘em. Die daily from them: They will die. A ball full of thoughts, and that’s it!
(1:18:58) Because of awareness you’ll stay out of others’ business.
(1:19:36) Isolation is good sometimes. Be in a room by yourself. Get up with fear, doubt, not pick up the cell phone. The Light will handle it. He will. Be scared, worried, don’t call it you. I’m black and slow.
10 – Story: Let it happen. Stop defending anger.
(1:20:45) – Let it happen: Example. Responded. “My reputation.” Cleverness of the Devil. Thoughts.
(1:25:44) Eventually you won’t have darkness in you. Stop defending anger. Don’t put a “because” there.
11 – AA meeting disrespect; She doesn’t look 50! “Respect”
(1:27:08) – How many want people to respect there! “I was a pushover for so long.” Alex explains: AA meetings. Adrenaline thrill.

(1:29:56) Young lady: I’m 50. People think I’m young. Disrespect… (1:32:21) JLP: I don’t like people calling me “Reverend”… (1:34:45) I didn’t know you were 50! The Devil wants you to respond.
(1:35:11) Donyale … (1:36:16) JLP: People who want to be respected — they think they’re respectable. But they’re judging others, think they’re better! (1:38:37) JLP: What you put out, you do get back — but it’s inside. It’s an illusion! (1:39:35) Being born again is nothing like I thought it was.
(1:40:07) JLP: You want to be respected? Nobody to be respected! Who are you talking about? Who are you? “I’m a child of God.” -the Devil, always.
12 – I want them to respect my ego. They think they can run over me!
(1:40:53) – Southern gal: My ego I want them to respect. I look really young too. I don’t want to be “ran over” (sic) — JLP: YOU’RE thinking that! YOU think it’s happening to you. It’s not. Just your ego nature. You shouldn’t even think about it. “It bothers me sometimes.”
(1:44:18) Let me hear you say it back (again)… It’s in your body, but not you. JLP: Hassan said Christ was bleeding, because he was about to die. You have the same pain. Dying from the false self, alone. You’re getting so many opportunities, passing them up instead of becoming free… “I’m a Southern belle!” It’s not happening to you. See what’s in you, so you can die from it. Let it happen!
(1:46:26) Then no more train wrecks will happen. You will be yourself, not a facade — you’ll be real. … Others acting fancy… You’ll no longer be a showcase personality. Let those people run all over your ego. Take the pain! Die from the pain.
13 – Is ‘karma’ from God or the Devil? Judging ‘right and wrong’
(1:47:45) – One of the ladies: Is Karma from God or the Devil? (1:49:59) JLP: You’re lying — you’re not in control of anything. It’s coming back on you right then and there. You feel the pain of what you’re doing. Pay attention. You’ll see… JLP: “I would never be like that family” — you’re judging them… JLP: We don’t know right from wrong; but people think THEY’RE way of thinking is the only way.
14 – Want people to respect you? What is love? “A black thing”
(1:52:32) – Young man on “disrespect”/respect. The world would function better? JLP: It’d be all phony. We need love. Respect is phony.
(1:54:08) What is love, Hake? … That didn’t help. (1:54:47) No mic…
15 – “A black thing”?
(1:55:07) – Love is when I’m out of the equation. You want people to respect you? “A black thing,” says the man with her. She deals with feelings of worthiness, at her job.
(1:57:38) It got drilled into me where I swing the opposite. Hurt is mad. (1:59:07) It’s hard catching hell from a black woman. JLP: That’s ego, let it happen.
16 – Love is a state of being… No reaction
(1:59:45) – Love is a state of being. The man follows up about respect and society, waiters at a restaurant…
(2:02:18) Q from Asian guy… If you can see it, is it controlling you? If you see it and give no room at all. (2:03:19) JLP: No reaction. Stop reacting.
(2:04:41) JLP: All these thoughts are not real. Don’t let the Devil make you think you’re aware or not aware. Nothing bad has ever happened to you.
