Ladies, You Can’t Find Security in a Husband! (If He Cheats, Be Glad.)

WATCH CLIP (2-min)  YouTube  |  BitChute  |  JLP counseled with a married couple — one cheated on the other, and the other cheated to get back at him. If you get angry when wronged, it’s because you sought spiritual identity in another human being. But a woman’s confidence and peace should only be in God, even though her husband should lead and protect her.

Church Notes

10:58 AM US PST We start streaming a couple of minutes before the top of the hour, and get started about a minute after.

What did you learn about yourself this year?

11:02 Jesse asks people what they learned about themselves this year.

Rochelle talks about being all-in.

11:07 A young man talks about self-sabotaging. The Devil talks you out of doing the Silent Prayer.

11:10 Another young man has a hard time letting go of his personal perception of life and himself.

Which do you prefer: to have stress or to be nobody?

11:12 Jesse asks the second young man: Which do you prefer, to have stress or to be nobody?

11:14 Hassan too answers it, saying he lived life afraid of being nobody.

Doug also answers. Hake answers as well.

More: What did you learn about yourself this year?

11:17 Doug answers what he learned this year. He’s in his thoughts so much more than he realized.

James realized he’s more selfish than he noticed in a while.

Have you ever betrayed anyone? Ever been betrayed?

11:19 Jesse asks: Have you ever betrayed anyone? A man says he wouldn’t know, and that it’s up to someone else’s feelings.

11:21 A second man says he’s betrayed someone before.

Jesse also asks the two: Have you ever felt betrayed?

Hassan betrayed himself, he says. How? When he does the nice thing instead of the right thing, he says that’s betrayal of both himself and others. He was angry when betrayed.

11:29 Doug has betrayed others and been betrayed. He now doesn’t believe he can be betrayed, necessarily.

11:30 A man says he’s never been betrayed nor has he betrayed others. He’s only had one friend in his life.

When will the Kingdom of Heaven come?

11:36 As Hake answers about betrayal, Jesse asks him and others: When will you see the Kingdom of Heaven?

One man says when he lets go.

11:38 The man doesn’t do the Silent Prayer.

Jesse asks a man: When will the Kingdom of Heaven come?

Another man says he has hate.

Hake gives his best answer from the Bible.

11:45 Rochelle and Doug answer. He says it’s here, but he doesn’t see it.

Biblical Question: What you do to others you do to yourself.

11:48 Jesse asks Doug the Biblical Question: What you do to others you do to yourself. What does that mean?

11:52-ish SORRY FOR THE BAD AUDIO

JLP: The Kingdom will come when you disappear

11:54 In reality when you try to hurt others you’re really doing it to yourself. The darkness of your imagination makes you think you’re hurting others, but you’re not.

The Kingdom of Heaven will come when you disappear. As long as you have a false identity of yourself you won’t see the Kingdom.

A person betraying you is messing with the illusion you have of yourself. Welcome betrayal.

You will live in the Kingdom without any thoughts or feelings, in the world but not of it. You wouldn’t think you’re not bothered, because all thoughts are all lies, but you wouldn’t be bothered.

Social movements are about using others

11:59 Jesse mentions the Civil Rights movements and other social movements, people using the poor to make money. It’s not for you, but for the people who make you think they need them.

Keep your eyes on you

12:01 This year keep your eyes on you. Buffaloes run into the storm and not away from them. We must be the same. Whatever the issue, go to it, and face it.

Christians know the Bible and can argue about it. But they don’t know the Kingdom is at hand.

When you think you’re hurting others, you’re really hurting yourself.

Be careful not to hold onto anything intellectually. Don’t have any ideas about what disappearing means. Satan will use learning against you.

Cause pain for yourself: Sit quietly

12:04 Hassan agrees. Jesse continues: there can be no you at all.

Cause pain for yourself. Sit quietly, and feel the pain, the fear, and just watch them. The Kingdom is almost unexplainable. As Christ said, it’s a little mustard seed. Some die and life comes from it. So you have to die.

The Devil is convincing you to hide, commit suicide, not to pray.

We are a spirit living in the body. Stop identifying with the body. Go through the pain. Don’t be mad at others who bring a storm to you; they’re doing it to themselves.

Mothers, when you forgive them, need others to make them feel approved.

Being still is the highest form of prayer.

12:07 Another man agrees. Jesse continues: Whatever happens in life, you watch your reaction to it. Don’t let the Devil talk you out of doing the Silent Prayer. He does not want you to let go. Being still is the highest form of prayer. There’s nothing you can do. Be. And let life happen.

The Christians think accepting Jesus at the front of the church is it. It’s not. Watch yourself. And you will die from the world.

12:10 There’s no reason to be afraid of what’s going on in others’ world outside you. God is with us, he loves us, and will protect us.

Everybody is a hypocrite

12:11 Doug says we’ve been taught wrong, taught to “fight for your life.” Doug comments on seeing the hypocrisy and corruption in the world. That’s how we are until we enter the Kingdom. Men and women are hypocrites with one another. Christ’s disciples too.

Jesse repeats: Be like the buffaloes. Go and face the storm. If you were in the Kingdom, you wouldn’t feel anything. A husband or wife angry that the other cheated, who are you that you should be mad about that? You’re no better. Christ said anyone with anger is a murderer.

Warning: Let go of all intellectual knowledge

12:20 Let go of all intellectual knowledge. People will think your smart but you’ll go through your whole life pretending. Be honest within you.

Don’t tell your personal business and don’t get into crying!

12:21 Also: Stop telling others your personal business. Jesse heard one person being so weak that he answered a nosy person asking about something that isn’t their business.

12:23 Men, do not get into crying! Jesse saw a black seeming father and young son talking about crying.

12:25 Do the Silent Prayer. Stay on the Straight and Narrow. It’s not you. Stay no matter what happens. Pray and watch. Next week we have a little plan we’ll lay out. Work on the not-you. Be glad to see you don’t see anything good about you. We’re born of sin, which is fake, which is wickedness.

Don’t believe the false-self’s self-judgment

12:27 After Hake comments how today’s service helped, Jesse warns a guy not to believe the self-judgment. That’s not you accusing yourself.

Ladies and husbands, when someone cheats, be glad

12:30 A young lady speaks more on what she’s learned. Husbands are supposed to take care of their wives, but only God should give her security within her. Ladies, don’t go into his phone. Go inside to see you’re looking to the man to give you something that can only come from God. You find the Kingdom of Heaven by not hating his weakness. Don’t try to get spiritual identity from your husband.

Closing: Stay with prayer

12:32 Jesse encourages the young man to stay with the prayer.

12:33 Merry Christmas! We will see you next Sunday, New Year’s Day! The BOND office is closed next week until Sunday.
